unprotected sex (condom broke)

Hi,
I have unprotected sex (condom broke) with a CSW. Got viral fever after 3 day.
I got following hiv tests till 48th day (today), all were negative

RT PCR RNA test on 16th day
ELISA 4 gen AG/AB combo test on 25th, 35th and 42 day
CMIA hiv 1,2 + p24 antigen screening test on 28th and 48th day

I have been having several symptoms right from the 5th day like
Diarrhea (comes and goes)
Body aches
Red spots (pimples) on neck and back
Headaches
Apatite Loss
Weight loss
Anxiety and sleeplessness
Sore Throat
Tiredness

I have read on several websites that duo combo test are considered conclusive at 6 weeks (42 days), some says 8 weeks (56 days) and some 12 weeks (84 days).

Depending on data from these tests can I consider my test results conclusive as negative? if not what are the chances of my test going positive after 12 weeks?

Hi Gopal. There is also absolutely no chance that the symptoms you have described could be a consequence of HIV seroconversion illness. There would not have been enough time. Symptoms are a consequence of seroconversion and that cannot start until 21 days post infection. I am not an expert of other HIV tests as I work for BioSure however I would recommend talking to your GP as they will have more knowledge than me. I would also recommend trying to put the incident behind you and simply re-test to put your mind at rest 12 weeks post exposure. I hope this helps, Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure(UK) Ltd
