Took 2 tests 7 years after possible exposure, both negative.
I took 2 BioSURE HIV tests, purchased from amazon (I saw that the link was later confirmed to be a legitimate bioSURE amazon vendor) and they were both negative. I took pictures of the tests to remind myself of the results when I get anxious, and I’m still really anxious.
I for some reason believe the tests were wrong or not accurate enough to reassure me.
The sexual encounter I had was unprotected receptive oral-sex, meaning I was performing it on a penis, ejaculation didn’t take place but there was pre-seminal fluid.
Both tests presented with 1 line, and one of them had that slight blood-stain just above the tab that has “HIV” in blue written all over it. The blood stained scared me which is why I took the second one, just to be sure, though the package did warn that the blood-stain isn’t a line and doesn’t mean positive.
I just wish I could trust the tests. Is there anyone I can send a couple of pictures to to confirm my BioSURE test results? I took two and both are negative, but one has a red mark at the blue tab just as the white part of the strip starts. It warned about that being something that can happen and that it doesn’t mean the result is positive, but I’d just really appreciate confirmation?
