Tired and worried

Good day. Please help! I had quick unprotected sex with another guy about 30 weeks ago. I suddenly (I dont know why) became worried about HIV. I developed anxiety and stress. I tested almost every 2 weeks using a Biosure self testing kit and again last week wich is already after 6 months. All of my tests were negative. I developed a throat infection which doesn’t go away and I think I feel swollen glands under my jaw… point is of all the tests I did every 2 weeks for the last 30 weeks were negative. Is this Conclusive?? Should I still be worried??

Hi Tired, The BioSURE HIV Self Test can accurately detect infection from 4 weeks however, a negative result is not conclusive until 12 weeks post-exposure. All of your negative results received after the 12 week window period are reliable and conclusive. The swollen glands you are experiencing are most likely related to the throat infection that you developed. Your negative results are conclusive and you do not need to retest. I hope this helps to ease your mind and hope that you can put this behind you. Kindest regards, Becky
