the condom broke

Hi I had sex with a man of unknown status the condom broke, later he told me that he is hiv positive, I was scared so I got tested at a discam pharmacy at 6 weeks results were negative and I tested at 9 weeks at a ngo tent clinic results were negative,I tested at 2 months results negative met a guy who is hiv negative he regularly tests he tested at (3 months,6 month,and 9 months and all his test are negative)am worried that maybe I might have infected him even though he test negative

Hi Very Worried, firstly I understand that this is a very stressful time for you and you have done the right thing by testing. Secondly if the man knew he was HIV positive then it is likely that he would have been on treatment, this would mean he can't pass the virus on. I would recommend using barrier contraception and re-testing at 3 months to confirm the negative test result then you will be able to move on from the incident with peace of mind.
