Test - is it still valid?

Hi I recently completed a test and after 15 minutes there were no lines. I then realised I had not pushed it down properly. After 15 mins I pushed it down and the control line appeared. Is the test still valid?

Hi FMONTI72 Thanks for contacting us. From what you have described I can assure you that you have performed the test correctly and your negative result is valid. No test is 100% accurate but as long as you have tested more than 3 months after a possible exposure or are using the test as part of a regular testing regime, you can rely on your negative test result. I hope that this answers your question. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited

Dears, I have executed a HIV test, fortunately it is NEGATIVE. The problem is that I started counting 15 minutes as soon as I have inserted the test in the cap (TIME 0), I cannot remeber if the pink spot appears after 30 seconds or 60 seconds. Anyway after 15 minutes from TIME 0 I have verified the test putting it in "horizontal position" and result was negative, the same after 20 minutes from the beginning. Please are you sure that my test is safe and 100% reliable also in this case? The "15 minutes" includes a safety time? Thank you very much. Best Regards.

Hi UK 23 Yes your test is still valid. The test is very robust to minor errors in procedure. I hope that answers your question. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Ltd
