Hi BIOSURE STERILE KIT? Thanks for getting in touch. The lancet is sterile and is single use only. They cannot be recycled or reused. Once they have been triggered the needle completely retracts and the mechanism that triggers the last is disable so that it CANNOT be reused. The test devices are assembled and pouched by machine. All operations are subjected to the most stringent environmental controls such that all machine operators wear disposable gloves, clean, laundered protective clothing and hair nets. Is your kit sterile? I have used this kit and is the lancet sterile? I have some ocd in me and I think that the needle from the lancet was not sterile. Is the kit packed by machine or hand packaged? Also if someone was to return the kit but not used the kit itself but they opened the kit up and returned it does it still get re-stocked?

Hi Worried Guy 3, Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, the test would work if you had been infected 10 or more years ago. The test looks for antibodies which stay with you for life.
