Second line - Visibility

Hi, what is the visibility of a “weak” second line? I took my test 3 – 4 months after the potential exposure, and the result was negative (with only one solid control line after 15 mins).

I wonder whether or not the weak second line, if it was there, could have magically disappeared without my notice in the process and the chance of having a false negative result in my case.

P.S. I looked at the test result the next day and there’s only one control line.

Hi HelloWorld. A weak second line could be seen after the 15 minute read time as the background discolouration would’ve cleared. It is a stable test and although we recommend not reading your result after an hour of the test running your result should not change. I hope this helps and thank you for choosing BioSure. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
