Protected sex?

Hi I was recently in Amsterdam and made a huge mistake by visiting the Red Light district. In a moment of weakness I slept with one of the girls. We used a condom from beginning to end as well as water based lubricant. My question is if it is at all possible for me to have gotten HIV from this incident, should I get tested?

Hi Scared Guy. I would like to point out that this is a very low risk exposure due to the fact you have used a condom. Although it would not be deemed 'necessary' to test I would recommend getting tested/testing at 12 weeks post exposure just to put your mind at rest and it is also recommended you test every time you have a new partner.
