Oral thrush

Hi , I had protected sex and unprotected oral sex 2 years ago. I’ve taken Biosure at 3 months , 4 months , 6 months and 1 year later. Also I tested GUM clinic at 3 months. All of them negative. But 4 days ago some symptoms start , oral thursh , sore throat , diarrhoea and fever. As my knowledge oral thrush related with weak immune system. Is there any possibility turn my negative result to positive?
I also haven’t taken any risks in the last 2 years.

Hi Allyy01, your result is negative. The chance of one test giving a false result is extremely low, 4 is virtually impossible. Oral thrush would not affect your result. There are really only two things that can affect the result of a BioSure HIV self test. The first being on anti-retroviral treatment for HIV and the other would be if you have been vaccinated against HIV. I hope this helps put your mind at rest.
