IS 90 days enough?

HI
I’ve heard about that 6 weeks after suspected exposure to the infection will be enough to detect it.
If I test 90 days after suspected exposure using Biosure, will 90 days be long enough for Biosure kit to detect HIV? will the negative result be reliable then?
thanks

HIV test This is a great testing kit, very easy to use. I was wondering is this a second or third generation test? Would a 4.5 week test therefore be a good indicator of negative status? Kind regards James

Dear helpppp The BioSure HIV Self Test will detect antibodies as soon as a person has created enough of them. For most people that will have happened by around 6 weeks. However, to make sure that the test will be as accurate as possible we suggest testing at 12 weeks or around 90 days. This is in line with UK Sexual Health guidelines for HIV testing. So at 90 days a negative result will be reliable. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
