Did I do the Biosure test correctly?

I think I’ve done the test correct but after three minutes the movement didn’t appear to be moving up the test device quick enough so I removed the test device from the buffer pot and applied more blood (I might’ve had a saliva on my finger to stem escape of blood!). I placed the test device back in and it started moving a lot quicker after 15 minutes only the control line appeared and I layed the test down to check. I then stood it up again for three more minutes (just to make it conclusive) and the same result appeared negative.

Have I done the test correctly?

Hi Nervy, this is not the correct way of performing the test however as long as you have received a control line your test has worked. This can only appear if the test has worked properly. Having saliva on your finger would not affect your result. For future reference I would recommend watching our user video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4CAqsmN_6g) to help you with performing the test. I hope this helps and thank you for choosing BioSure. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
