Can I trust the result?

Hi I have took at test 8 months after a oral encounter with a chap. I know it’s 99.7 percent accurate can I relax with my negative result?

Hi James01, A negative result 8 months post exposure is accurate and conclusive. Our test has a 12 week window period so any result outside of this period is final and conclusive - you do not need to retest. You can try to move on from this knowing that you are HIV negative. I hope this helps. Kindest regards, Becky
