I want to know if the test will be accurate if you’ve done it after 4 months you suspect being exposed. I took the test after 4 months 8 days exactly I was exposed and the results was negative. This the result correct?
Hope it's not a big deal if you don't compare your test when you see just one line after 15 minutes or you compare it without the pot on it but it was there the whole process but you accidentally took it out when comparing?

Thank you for your question. All HIV tests have a "window period", a time, following exposure, during which the test may not detect HIV infection. The BioSure HIV Self Test has a "window period" of 12 weeks (3 months). So in your case a negative result will be accurate.
