9 week negative result

I did a BioSure test and the result was negative after nine weeks. I want to know how much accuracy is? Now the tongue is hairy and scary. No other discomfort in the body.

Hi JasonW. The accuracy of the BioSure HIV self test doesn’t change, at 9 weeks post possible exposure 95% of people would’ve produced the antibodies for HIV however due to how the body works some people zeroconvert as late as 12 weeks. This is why we say a negative result can only be relied on 12 weeks post possible exposure. I hope this answers your query. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure(UK) Ltd
