6 years ago I tested positive

Hi, about 6years ago I tested positive and was advised to test again after 12 weeks of which I refused and opted to start treatment. A month ago I did the biosure test and it came out negative, again this month I did a second test and also came out negative. Can this be a false negative?

Hi K Midrand, If you are on treatment for HIV, your result would most likely be a false result. You need to wait 12 weeks after using PEP or PrEP or after taking ART's to test. Kindest regards, Becky
