4 Biosure Test

Hello.
I have a question about realiability of Biosure hiv self test. I did 4 test. 1st one at 11 week, 2nd one at 12 week, 3rd one at 12.5 weeks and last one at 13 week after a single Exposure. The 4 test are negative with a clear control line. What are The odds of a false negative result with this 4 tests accumulative?

Hi Gadj Thanks for getting in touch. Given your testing history I would say that you can be certain that your negative results can be considered to be reliable and accurate. I hope that this answers your question. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Ltd

Hello, Query regarding reliability of this test. Driving myself round the bend at my stupidity. I have had 2 negative 4th Gen tests, one test at one month since exposure and then a follow up at 9 weeks. I took this test at 14 and a half weeks and all have come back negative. Could I now put this in the past and declare myself Negative? I'm honestly going insane.

Hi Aly83 Thanks for getting in touch. Given the timing of each test after your potential exposure, each negative test result would be reliable and conclusive on their own. Given all of the negative results returned in series, there is virtually no chance that all could be incorrect. The combined set of results are reliable and conclusive. I hope that this answers your question and helps to put you at ease. If you require any further information please don't hesitate to contact me again. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
