Question about the test

Hi,

I completed the test and and have a very clear control line only. There is no coloured second line.
However, given im a bit of a hyperchondriac, I searched and searched for even the slightest hint of a second line. Aside from a microscopic dot of colour on the edge of the test above where i believe the test line is, there is nothing.
My question is, if you hold the test up to the light, are you able to see (what is assume) is a clear membrane line? I assume two lines of reactive substance exist on the test paper that need to be activated. Im pretty sure I could see this under intense light. The line has to be coloured, right? Regardless of if its lighter in colour or not.

Just wondering

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank Thanks for getting in touch. If there is a test line you will see it as a definite change of colour and the line will go completely across the test strip. If you hold the test up to strong light at an angle, even before you run the test, and if you look very closely you can "see" the in-triggered sprayed lines by reflection. This is completely normal. From all that you have described you have performed the test correctly and interpreted your result correctly as negative. I hope that this helps. Kind regards Gary Carpenter BioSure (UK) Limited
