I have been experiencing symptoms
I have been experiencing symptoms and feel like killing myself. I had a test done at a clinic after 4 weeks and it was negative. I’ve never felt so alone or depressed. It’s had a massive effect on my life and I haven’t been able to speak to anyone about it. I’ve had thrush, pains in my legs and muscle spasms all over my body. I’ve recently received the news my blood sugar is high, is this a sign? My test arrives soon and I’m so anxious about doing it. I’m currently working late shift and tried to ring numerous helplines no help. I keep having suicidal thoughts and it’s really getting to me. My arms are all heavy and my muscle twitches are getting worse.

So I completed my test this evening, I followed the instructions (nice and easy to follow). I was extremely nervous, I'm happy/relieved to say it was negative. I can't thank Gary enough for his comforting words and advice and also for the product. I want everyone to know that although this is a nervous experience it really does put your mind at ease (regardless of the result). As you can see from my previous posts I wasn't in a good place at all.

After 10pm is fine. Ring me before you intend to test, that way we can have a chat first.

Hi,
You can call me, my mobile is ***** ****** . Perhaps you might want to call me before you run the test. We can have a chat about what might happen and how you might feel about the possible outcomes. I am happy to walk you through the testing process. We can then talk through what to do next, negative or positive result.
Kind regards
Gary

Hi Gary, thanks for your reply and words of comfort. I'll be doing the test late this evening. Who can I call if the results are positive? All phone lines seem to close at 10pm. If the result is positive I will kill myself I have no other option. I'm so nervous about this test.

Dear MuscleTwitch1975
I am sorry to hear that you are so concerned. None of the symptoms that you describe are in any way associated with HIV.
Your negative test at 4 weeks is very encouraging. HIV tests, pretty much whatever kind or wherever performed, are incredibly accurate.
HIV is now a TOTALLY TREATABLE CONDITION. People who test positive for HIV and go on treatment have completely NORMAL HEALTH OUTCOMES. So regardless of your HIV status, negative or positive, you can look forward to a very healthy life. The most important thing is that you have chosen to test. You have taken a massive step towards conquering your fear of HIV.
My suggestion would be that you return to the clinic that performed your test and explain to them how you feel. They will put your mind at ease and you can move on. HIV really is only a dangerous thing if you are not taking action to know your status.
I really hope that this helps.
Kind regards
Gary Carpenter
