My boyfriend said he tested positive

My boyfriend said he tested positive but then later.. The second line disappeared.. He thinks it is because it was hot
How is that possible?

Hi Guluva, This may explain why the test gave a positive result and then later showed as a negative result. It is extremely likely that the test result is inaccurate and I would recommend that your boyfriend retests with an in-date test. I hope this helps. Kindest regards, Becky

Only to find out that the test that we used expired on the 08 of Jan 2021.. and we used them on the 28 of Feb 2021... what are the chances of them giving us false results?

Hi Guluva, If the result at 15 minutes - 1 hour (after performing your test) was positive then your boyfriend should get his result confirmed by a healthcare professional. If the test line disappeared then it may be that the result was a false positive but I would recommend that he retests as soon as possible. I hope this helps. Kindest regards, Becky
