am I overthinking ?

Hi,
I had sex with 2 sex worker in amsterdam with condom and I took biosure test exactly after 119 days I.e. outside window period and came back negative (one line but blood strains on the sides of the tube no other line or no faint line ). But Now I am suffering from nasal congestion probably rhinitis symptoms. My question is is the bio sure test on 119 conclusive do I need to take blood test from GP or another biosure test? I am really worried again. Google says persons with hiv are more prone to allergies – am I overthinking ? I am really worried again. Will it be possible for someone to seroconvert after 119 days?

Hi AnxiousGuy, If you have tested negative at 119 days using our test, your result is reliable and conclusive - you do not need to retest. Seroconversion usually occurs 1-3 weeks after initial infection, which is when most people experience symptoms. I would try to move on from this and put this behind you. I understand that this is easier said than done but your risk was essentially very low since you used protection. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions, please feel free to leave them below. Kindest regards, Becky
