Hi QuestionOne, It is advised to leave your test standing upright in the buffer pot hole for the 15 minutes before laying it down in the tray to cross reference your result against the IFU but it will not affect your result if you do happen to lay your test down before the 15 minutes. There may just be a red smudge at the very bottom of the strip, due to the migration of the blood sample, but again this is not a line and does not affect your result. Kindest regards, Becky
