I see a lot of you here are concerned about testing and maybe have put off testing or are anxious about your result.
So will tell you my story.
10 months I had unprotected intercourse with my partner. Immediately afterwards i was convinced I had hiv.
I had 3 4th gen blood tests at my gp at 38, 74 and 140 days post intercourse but was convinced they were wrong so eventually I purchased this biosure test so I could look for myself.
I took the test approx 10 months after the intercourse and it was negative. It was the longest 15 minutes of my life sitting on the bathroom floor convinced I was going to see 2 lines.
I saw only one and couldn’t believe it, but I now know my status for sure and am slowly trying to move on with my life. Whenever I feel worried I remind myself I am healthy.
I was that person who constantly checked my body for symptoms and was convinced that any illness I had was caused by hiv.
No symptoms can tell you only a test can…take the test and please believe the result!
