Concerned

Hi,

I took the test in early December I timed it for around 15 minutes and took a good few minutes to run, however the control line showed it was pink and not dark red like the diagram in the test shows. Also the background was still slightly pink still after running and not completely clear like the diagram shows. The test had definitely finished running however. Should I be concerned?

Hi Anxiousman, the reason we say to wait 15 minutes before reading your test result is because after this time even the faintest line would appear visible. There is no need to re-test. However if you feel it would put your mind at rest there will be no harm in doing so. I hope this helps and please try not to worry. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd

Hi Anxiousman, The control line can vary in colour between pink - dark red. As long as it is visible and a full line it means your test has run properly. The background of the test strip can be slightly discoloured without affecting the result. It is simply due to the blood sample applied. There is nothing to be concerned about. Kindest regards, Becky, BioSure UK LTD
