I took a test yesterday and it showed 2 lines but the first line which is control line was fainted. Is it an accurate positive test?

Hi Moses. 2 lines is a positive result, the strength of the lines may vary from test to test. The control line is simply there so the user knows their test has worked and their result is accurate. I would recommend going to your GP/GUM clinic in order to get a confirmatory test. Don't panic, HIV is a treatable condition and the only fear should be not knowing your status. Please don't hesitate to contact me/us further (either via email fbard@biosure.co.uk or via whatsapp 07763489170) should you need to ask for any advice/questions. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
