negative test at 6 weeks

Hi. In your experience, has a negative test at 6 weeks turned positive at 12 weeks?

Hi Anxious001, it is unlikely that a negative test at 6 weeks would then be a positive at 12 however due to how the body works it is not impossible. People produce antibodies at different rates at 6 weeks 95% of people would've produced the antibodies to HIV and at 12 weeks 99.9% of people have these antibodies. You have done the right thing by testing and I would recommend moving on from the incident and simply retesting at 12 weeks to confirm this negative result. I hope this helps. Kindest regards Francesca Bard, BioSure (UK) Ltd
